About Evoke

EVOKE is a national, online, multi-disciplinary art contest for human rights expression offered by TakingITGlobal, in partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The initiative incorporates artistic expression and online tools and resources to engage youth from all across Canada and to provide them with a platform for human rights dialogue.

About TIG

TakingITGlobal (TIG) is an international organization led by youth and empowered by technology. Often described as a "social network for social good," the award winning www.tigweb.org is an online community that connects young people all over the world to find inspiration, access information on a diverse range of issues, get involved, and take action in their local and global communities. The site is available in twelve languages and offers a diverse set of tools and resources, including blogs, wikis, discussion boards, podcasts, an online gallery, a member-driven e-zine, guides to action and more.
