Global Gallery Artwork Submissions

Ready to submit your art? This section will tell you more about how submissions work. It will also allow you to see examples of artwork submitted to EVOKE once the contest closes.

Deadline Extension

  • There's still plenty of time to submit your art! The deadline has been extended until June 2nd, 2010!

Artwork Submission Guidelines

  • Artwork can be submitted in the form of a video or a digital image that can be uploaded (including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture and photography).
  • Video guidelines: Videos must first be uploaded to YouTube (using the entrants' YouTube account) and then linked to TakingITGlobal's Global Gallery. After doing so, entrants may submit their videos the same way as any other submission by following the instructions outlined on the website. Videos can have a maximum length of 2 minutes and must use only original or royalty-free music and images.
  • Digital image guidelines: Supported file formats include jpg., jpeg., and gif. (up to 4 megabytes). Images must have a minimum size of 800 x 600 pixels.

Prizes

Prize includes an all-expenses paid trip to Winnipeg, Manitoba, home of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.  Winners will enjoy a stay at the luxurious Inn at the Forks hotel, located at the Forks National Historic Site in downtown Winnipeg.  Enjoy a fun-filled weekend and  see some of the best Winnipeg has to offer on guided tours of the city and its outskirts.  You will be featured as part of a special ceremony for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and enjoy a live outdoor concert presented as part of Manitoba Homecoming 2010!
